Allocating & Booking People

Copper offers two great ways to allocate your people to tasks, Simple Resourcing or Advanced Resourcing. With Simple resourcing, you simply add a person to a task, and they'll see that task in their To Do view. Simple.

With Advanced resourcing, Copper provides finite control over Resource Availability and Bookings. Once you’ve allocated your resources to a task, you can then drag inside each day to book their time. Your team member will see this booked time in their calendar and To Do view and will then proceed to complete and log their time accordingly.

You can can also review and manage advanced resourcing information in the Timeline, or, the piece de resistance, the Resource Timeline view in the calendar; which is a full colour view of your resource spread, just waiting for defragmentation.
